I am an artist and a the director of an art school, the Teaching Studios of Art.
Me, as an artist:
I was born and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Although I have resided in
New York City for 12 years, the surrealistic and Catholic Baroque quality of my
birthplace permeates my art to this day. In my work the main focus is on
nudes and landscapes.

As director of an art school:
In 2009, I founded the Teaching Studios of Art. It has two locations, one in
Brooklyn and one in Oyster Bay, Long Island.

The Teaching Studios of Art’s mission is to train artists in traditional
techniques practiced for centuries before the advent of Modernism. We
believe that creating a vibrant artistic environment enriches the aesthetic and
cultural life of the surrounding community. We desire to equip students of all
ages with the strengths of time-tested techniques.
